These draft terms apply to orders placed through Chocolate Circle. Before publishing, replace all bracketed prompts and make sure the terms reflect how the shop actually operates.
1. Who we are
This shop is operated by [ADD FULL LEGAL BUSINESS OR OWNER NAME], trading as Chocolate Circle, at [ADD REGISTERED BUSINESS ADDRESS]. Business or food registration details, where applicable: [ADD REQUIRED REGISTRATION DETAILS]. Contact: [ADD CUSTOMER SUPPORT EMAIL AND PHONE].
2. Products, ingredients, and availability
We make handmade chocolate in small batches. Product descriptions, photographs, prices, weights, ingredients, and allergen information must be checked on the relevant product and its packaging. Replace sample catalogue content and add verified ingredient and allergen information before selling. Contact us before ordering if you have an allergy or dietary question; do not rely on an unverified website description.
Products are subject to availability. If we cannot fulfil a paid order, we will contact you using the details you provide and explain the options available under our published cancellation and refund policy.
3. Prices, orders, and payment
Product prices are shown in Indian rupees. The checkout currently calculates the chocolate subtotal only; it does not calculate or add a delivery charge. Do not accept live payments until any delivery charge is displayed in the checkout total before the customer pays. Payment is processed by Razorpay under its applicable terms. A payment confirmation does not replace any required delivery-area or product-availability confirmation.
The customer is responsible for providing a correct name, phone number, email address if supplied, and delivery address. We use these details to process and fulfil the order, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Delivery
We use the delivery pin you provide to estimate the straight-line distance from the shop. Orders at or within 15 km are marked for manual Porter booking; orders beyond 15 km are marked for a manually arranged courier. These are suggestions for the shop only; no carrier is automatically booked, and the shop must confirm that the address, delivery option, and any fee work before fulfilment. Straight-line distance is not road distance. See our Shipping Policy.
5. Changes, cancellations, and refunds
Add the shop's actual cancellation cut-off, how customers request a change or cancellation, how damaged, incorrect, missing, or delayed orders are reported, evidence and reporting timeframes if applicable, and the available refund or replacement process: [ADD A COMPLETE CANCELLATION, RETURNS, AND REFUND POLICY REVIEWED FOR APPLICABLE LAW]. Do not publish this draft or take live orders until this section is complete. Nothing in these terms limits any customer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information is collected during checkout, how it is shared with checkout providers, and how to contact us about it.
7. Issues and applicable law
Questions or complaints: [ADD CUSTOMER SUPPORT EMAIL AND PHONE]. Add applicable governing law, dispute-resolution steps, and jurisdiction after legal review: [ADD APPLICABLE LEGAL AND DISPUTE DETAILS].
8. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, update the effective date and make the current version available before customers place an order.
